RTP — Your Main Reference in Play

RTP — Your Main Reference in Play

RTP doesn't promise a return in one session. It should be counted over your own distance and current history.

RTP — Your Main Reference in Play

RTP is often taken as a promise of return, but that's a mistake. The figure of 96% or 97% relates to a large distance and doesn't protect a single session from a heavy minus.

Count RTP by your own history

In real play it's more useful to look at the actual RTP of your history: how much was bet, how much was paid, where the bonuses were and what happened between them. That turns RTP from a slogan into orientation.

Why it matters

Without accounting for RTP, a player judges the game by emotion. After a positive bonus it feels like the slot sped up; after a negative one, that it must give back. The data speaks more calmly: where a cycle is closed, where it's only stretching, and where a dangerous tail already runs. Read RTP together with volatility and the distance between bonuses.
